Makita Circular Saw
The Makita 7-1/4 inch magnesium circular saw features highly durable magnesium components and a
powerful 15 AMP Makita-built industrial motor. Makita have found a perfect balance of weight, power, durability and
ease of use to make their circular saw one of the most refined on the market.
The Makita Circular Saw features a 15 AMP motor that delivers 5,800 RPM in a well balanced design with high quality
magnesium components for a lighter weight saw that can easily cope with professional user demands. They have
engineered a saw that is well balanced and jobsite tough, proven to deliver 2,300 watts out with positive stops at
45 degrees and 22.5 degrees for ease of cutting.
Like all Makita products a lot of thought has gone into how to make this circular saw as easy to use as possible. A
lot of small design features have been included which will appeal to the user such as a wider space between the
rear handle and the blade for when people are wearing gloves or have larger hands. Makita have also added a wider
space between the blade and housing to give better visibility which will result in clearer measurements and they
have used clearer visible depth and bevel markings with an ergonomic handgrip for improved control of the saw.
The blade is a 7-1/4 inch premium ultra coated framing blade with advanced tooth design; the innovative ‘M’ shaped
tooth design has a two-point tip to give a faster, cleaner, long-lasting cut. The blade itself is ultra-coated to
prevent heat and pitch build up and make the blade faster and give smoother cuts. The inclusion of special Makita
vents have been strategically placed to dissipate heat and prevent the machine from overheating.
Makita have once again created a tool that is beyond any of the competition. The professional features on the
Makita Circular Saw make it perfect to carry out a wide range of professional jobs, such as framing walls, doors
and roofs as well as masonry or metal cutting. The easy to use design of the circular saw means that it is just as
well suited to that of the amateur user as it is to the professional, Makita’s innovative magnesium components are
stronger and lighter than other conventional materials and there is plenty of power thanks to Makita’s large 15 AMP
motor which will deliver clean and accurate cuts on a consistent basis
